Kitchen Romance
The temperature rises between Chanel and Johnny when she persuades her new husband to help her in the kitchen at Sweet Bits.
“You’re going to help me bake,” declares the newlywed. Soon, they’re kneading dough together and exchanging kisses.
Ladies Night Out
At the same time, Marlena and Paulina enjoy some “girl time” at a local spot, laughing and toasting the night away.
It seems the beloved doctor and the city’s mayor might be enjoying themselves a little too much.
Telling the Truth
Holly, overwhelmed by guilt, reveals the truth about the night of her overdose during the reception after Jude’s christening at the DiMera mansion.
In attendance are Nicole, EJ, Eric, and Brady, all shocked by her confession: “The drugs that I OD-ed on, they were mine.”
Nicole is moved to tears, while Brady, whose son, Tate, has been wrongfully blamed, is furious at Holly’s prolonged silence.
Coming Home
In a happier turn of events, Tate is discharged from rehab, and Brady and Theresa welcome him back to John and Marlena’s penthouse.
Tate is relieved to put the ordeal behind him, but Brady makes it clear: “You’re not going to see Holly.”
Tate agrees, yet he finds himself at the DiMera mansion, where a delighted Holly greets him with a smile and a kiss.
A New Twist
At the Brady pub, Rafe announces he has news for Jada, who is apprehensive about what he might say.
Sloan has significant information for Jada and Rafe as well, revealing a shocking twist: “You are still married to Mr. Stein.”
This revelation promises to complicate the already intricate dynamics between Jada, Rafe, Stephanie, and Everett/Bobby Stein, with Rafe predicting, “This is going to get ugly.”
