“Days of our Lives” spoilers for Thursday, May 23, finally reveal the truth about Everett, as Jada, Marlena, Rafe, Eric, and Stephanie witness a new aspect of his character.
All About the Town
Everett has been confusing most of Salem since the moment he arrived.
He swore he wasn’t Jada’s ex-husband, Bobby, and initially refused to sign their divorce papers.
But then he did, still insisting he had no memories of either being Bobby, cheating on her as Bobby, or loving her as Bobby.
Why, then, is Everett flirting with Jada? And in front of Rafe, no less?
Fists Up
Stephanie accepted Everett’s claims of amnesia and, as a result, absolved him of responsibility for breaking her heart and for allegedly dating her while still married to Jada.
But that was the old Everett.
The new Everett is fun and someone she is considering reuniting with. Until she sees him assault Eric.
Horrified, Stephanie goes running to Chad. And Chad is always happy to believe the worst about the guy who he believes stole Stephanie from him.
Putting Two and Two Together
Marlena has been seeing Everett for therapy.
We’re not sure if his seeming confusion in his Everett persona is a sign of progress or regression.
In any case, now that he’s taken a swing at her son, Marlena thinks she finally understands what’s going on with her patient.
But is it too little, too late?
Shake Some Sense Into You
Meanwhile, after the beatdown he got from Everett, Eric is seeing the world a lot more clearly.
And while his mom handles Everett, Eric goes back to his wife.
