Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 22
Maggie Kiriakis demanded a new office for Konstantin Meleounis and faced some resistance from Alex Kiriakis at Titan.
Maggie clarified that she wasn’t giving Konstantin a job but just providing a quiet space to manage the trust she’d set up in Victor Kiriakis’ name.
Once Maggie insisted, Alex had no choice but to comply.
After Julie Williams received a call about the completed renovations at the Horton house, she informed Chad DiMera that they could move back in now that the occupancy permit was signed.
Julie celebrated with Chad before calling Maggie, who congratulated her and updated Alex.
Alex thought it was great since, without Julie, Doug Williams, Chad, and the kids around, he could claim his birthright and move into the Kiriakis mansion, which was half his.
Once Alex was alone, he called Kristen DiMera to reschedule since he’d be busy moving but promised to make it up to her soon.
Chad seemed down after Julie mentioned a dream about Abigail DiMera.
Chad felt guilty for not figuring out Abigail’s story and wished he could have prevented her death.
Julie urged Chad to honor Abigail’s memory by living a full life.
When Maggie came home, Julie thanked her for opening her home, and they shared an emotional moment.
Later, Doug admired the renovated Horton house, but Julie thought it looked even better.
Although Chad blamed himself for the fire and the need for renovations, Doug and Julie encouraged him.
At the pub, Theresa Donovan told Brady Black she was back with Alex, and Brady asked about Alex and Kristen.
Theresa explained it was a fake relationship to make him jealous but admitted she overreacted.
Brady felt love might not be in the cards for him, but Theresa assured him the right woman would come along.
When the conversation turned to prom, Brady mentioned he’d agreed to chaperone the event at Tate Black’s school.
Since Theresa had signed up too, she joked about going to prom together.
In the town square, Johnny DiMera took a call about a job offer in Los Angeles and asked for more time to decide.
Chanel DiMera greeted Felicity Greene and accepted the challah she’d made.
Chanel felt too queasy to try it, so Johnny, as Sweet Bits’ taste-tester, gave his approval.
Tate offered to let Aaron join his date with Sophia Choi and be a “throuple” for the night. Aaron hesitated to be a third wheel, but Tate insisted.
They moved in front of the pub, where Theresa briefly interrupted to grab a doughnut and remind them to get to school on time.
After she left, Tate admitted he was still dating Holly and forced Aaron to keep it a secret.
When Tate hinted about a surprise, Brady questioned who it was for.
Tate lied it was for Sophia before learning both Brady and Theresa were chaperoning the prom, making him uncomfortable.
