Days of Our Lives Recap for Tuesday, June 4:
Ava Vitali and Lucas Horton couldn’t get Rebecca Goldman to reveal Clyde Weston’s location, despite holding her captive in a motel room.
Ava, seeking revenge for Goldman’s near-fatal attack on Tripp Johnson, pointed a gun at her.
However, Lucas persuaded Ava to lower the weapon to avoid extending his prison sentence by becoming an accessory to murder.
Later, Ava discovered Goldman’s phone in her car’s glove compartment and searched Clyde’s texts for clues.
With Lucas’s help, they deduced that Clyde was at the nearby Happy Camper Campground. Ava then dressed in Goldman’s clothes and left Lucas to guard her.
At the pub, Kate Roberts Brady called the monastery to check on Lucas and learned that Harris Michaels, described as a blue-eyed man with a tattoo, had taken him.
Concerned for Lucas’s safety, Kate finally contacted him. Lucas reassured her that they were closing in on Clyde.
Meanwhile, Harris tried to convince Snake to make a deal and betray Clyde, but Snake refused.
After confiscating Snake’s phone and investigating, Harris found out Snake had been frequently visiting the Happy Camper Campground.
At the campground, Ava, disguised in Goldman’s clothes, approached Clyde. Thinking it was Goldman, Clyde believed she had returned to leave town with him.
Ava then revealed her true identity, drew her weapon, and declared her intention to kill Clyde. Harris arrived just in time to prevent her from shooting.
In Salem, Kayla Johnson admired Sarah Horton’s engagement ring and wished her well with Xander Cook, despite having reservations. Xander reassured Kayla that he was committed to being a good husband and father.
After Kayla left, Sarah suggested inviting Xander’s mother to the wedding.
Though initially resistant, Xander eventually agreed but warned it could be a disaster. Sarah was determined to find Xander’s mother before the wedding.
At Steve Johnson’s apartment, Chad DiMera demanded updates on Clyde and insisted on joining Steve on a trip to Montana.
When Kayla arrived just as they were leaving, she objected. After Chad left for the airfield, Kayla scolded Steve for planning to leave without telling her and expressed concern about him possibly helping Ava kill Clyde.
Steve agreed to stay in Salem, and shortly after, Chad texted that he had taken off for Montana without him.
